Mind Journal respects user privacy. In the current version, journal entries are stored locally on the user's device. The current version does not require account registration and does not run developer-operated cloud sync for journal entries.
The app may store journal content, emotional notes, locally generated AI reflection text, and local app preferences such as language, sorting, rewarded unlock state, PDF export credits, app lock preference, and reminder preference.
Stored information is used only to display entries, generate reflections inside the app, support archive, insight, reminder, and PDF export features, remember preferences, and keep rewarded unlock status and ad privacy choices on the device.
Journal data is stored locally on the user's device using local app storage. In the current version, the developer does not keep a separate server copy of journal entries.
Journal entries and local app settings are retained until the user deletes an entry inside the app, clears the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstalls the app.
If the user exports a PDF report, that file remains on the user's device until the user manually deletes it from device storage.
Because the current version does not run developer-operated cloud sync for journal entries, there is no separate developer server copy for the user to request deletion of at this time.
The current version does not intentionally sell or share journal content with third parties. Google Play may process purchase or billing-related information when users interact with Play billing or Play services. If a user exports a PDF, that file is saved locally on the device.
The app may support biometric or device-authentication-based lock depending on device support, but no software security measure can guarantee absolute protection.
This app is not specifically directed to children under the age required by local law for independent consent.
If future versions add cloud backup, account systems, or external AI APIs, this privacy policy should be updated accordingly.
For privacy or support questions, users should contact the support email listed on the app's Google Play listing or developer profile.
