1. 처리하는 정보
RescueNow는 회원가입을 요구하지 않으며 개발자 운영 서버나 Firebase로 사용자의 구조 정보를 업로드하지 않습니다. 사용자가 기능을 켜거나 정보를 입력할 때 다음 항목이 기기에서 처리될 수 있습니다.
- 현재 위치와 백그라운드 위치, 구조 발생 시각과 최근 구조 기록
- 이름, 성별, 비상 연락처와 전화번호
- 혈액형, 알레르기, 질환, 복용 약물, 심박수·산소포화도 등 사용자가 입력하거나 연결된 기기에서 받은 건강 정보
- 충격·낙상·활동 감지를 위한 가속도계, 자이로스코프, 활동·신체 센서 값
- 여행 국가, 보험사·증권번호·연락처, 약 복용 알림, 앱 설정과 구조 모드 상태
- Google Play Age Signals가 제공하는 연령대 관련 상태와 보호자 승인 상태. 앱은 생년월일 자체를 요청하거나 저장하지 않습니다.
2. 권한과 사용 목적
- 위치: 사용자가 요청한 SOS, 실종 보호 모드, 사고 감지와 위치 포함 알림에 사용합니다. 백그라운드 위치는 사용자가 해당 보호 기능을 켠 동안에만 사용합니다.
- SMS·전화: 사용자가 등록한 비상 연락처로 위치·건강·여행 정보를 포함할 수 있는 구조 문자를 보내고, 사용자가 선택한 번호로 전화를 연결하는 데 사용합니다.
- 신체·활동 센서: 위험 감지와 기기 내 건강 요약에 사용합니다.
- 카메라: 비상용 플래시 또는 사용자가 선택한 QR 관련 기능에 사용하며 사진을 개발자 서버로 전송하지 않습니다.
- 알림·부팅·포그라운드 서비스: 사용자가 켠 모니터링과 복약 알림을 유지하고 진행 상태를 알리는 데 사용합니다.
3. 저장, 보관 및 삭제
프로필, 연락처, 건강·여행 정보, 최근 구조 기록과 최신 보호 위치는 기기 안의 Android Keystore 기반 암호화 저장소에 보관됩니다. 최근 구조 기록은 최대 50건으로 제한됩니다. 건강 정보는 암호화 저장소를 사용할 수 없으면 평문으로 대신 저장하지 않습니다.
사용자는 앱의 개별 삭제 기능, Android 앱 저장공간 삭제 또는 앱 제거를 통해 로컬 데이터를 삭제할 수 있습니다. 이미 발송된 SMS와 수신자의 기기에 남은 정보는 RescueNow가 삭제할 수 없습니다.
4. 전송과 제3자 서비스
- 휴대전화 통신사와 수신자: 사용자가 SOS를 실행하면 등록된 연락처에 위치, 건강 또는 여행 정보가 포함된 SMS가 전송될 수 있습니다.
- Google Play services Location / Wear OS: 위치 확인과 연결된 웨어러블 데이터 수신.
- Google AdMob: 보상형 광고. Google과 광고 파트너가 광고 ID, IP 주소, 기기·앱 정보, 광고 상호작용 및 진단 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다.
- Google Play Billing: 사용자가 구매를 선택할 때 결제 처리.
- Google Play Age Signals / In-App Review: 연령 관련 상태 확인과 Play 리뷰 화면 제공.
- 외부 웹 서비스: 사용자가 지도, 번역, 여행안전 정보 링크를 직접 열면 Google Maps, Google Translate 또는 외교부 웹사이트가 요청을 처리합니다.

5. 공유와 보안
RescueNow는 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 구조 정보는 사용자가 요청한 구조 기능을 수행하기 위해 등록된 연락처, 통신사 또는 사용자가 선택한 긴급 서비스에 전달될 수 있습니다. 앱의 일반 네트워크 연결은 평문 통신을 차단하며 앱 백업과 기기 전송에서 민감 데이터를 제외합니다.
6. 아동, 변경 및 문의
RescueNow는 아동을 대상으로 설계되지 않았으며 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다. 방침이 변경되면 이 페이지의 시행일을 갱신합니다.

1. Data processed
RescueNow does not require an account or upload rescue data to a developer-operated server or Firebase. When the user enables a feature or enters information, the app may process location and background location, emergency contacts and phone numbers, health and medical details, sensor readings, travel and insurance details, medication reminders, rescue history, and app settings on the device.
An age-related status supplied by Google Play Age Signals may also be stored locally. The app does not ask for or store a date of birth.
2. Permissions and purposes
- Location supports SOS, missing-person protection, incident detection, and location-bearing alerts. Background location is used only while the user-enabled protection feature is active.
- SMS and phone send emergency messages to contacts entered by the user and connect calls selected by the user. Messages may include location, health, or travel details.
- Body and activity sensors support risk detection and on-device health summaries.
- Camera supports an emergency light or user-selected QR features; photos are not uploaded to a developer server.
- Notifications, boot, and foreground services keep user-enabled monitoring and medication reminders active and visible.
3. Storage, retention, and deletion
Profiles, contacts, health and travel details, recent rescue records, and the latest protection location are kept in Android Keystore-backed encrypted storage. Rescue history is limited to 50 recent records. Health data is not silently downgraded to plaintext if encrypted storage is unavailable.
Users can delete local data through in-app controls, Android storage settings, or by uninstalling the app. RescueNow cannot delete SMS messages or information already delivered to a recipient.
4. Transfers and third parties
- Mobile carriers and recipients process emergency SMS content sent by the user.
- Google Play services Location and Wear OS support location and connected wearable data.
- Google AdMob provides rewarded ads and may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device and app information, ad interactions, and diagnostics.
- Google Play Billing processes purchases chosen by the user.
- Google Play Age Signals and In-App Review provide age-related status and the Play review flow.
- When the user opens map, translation, or travel-safety links, Google Maps, Google Translate, or the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs website processes the request.

5. Sharing and security
RescueNow does not sell personal data. Rescue information may be delivered to contacts, carriers, or emergency services selected by the user to perform the requested rescue action. Cleartext network traffic is blocked, and sensitive data is excluded from app backup and device transfer.
6. Children, changes, and contact
RescueNow is not designed for children and does not knowingly collect children's personal information. Updates will be reflected by changing the effective date on this page.
